by checking the firmware updates, we can see a wireless controller is now supported. Will it be released soon?
is SmartDevices also making a wireless game pad with more buttons than on the player? (so we can play SNES, GBA and Neo Geo games the way they are supposed to be played, with more buttons available)
just TRY to play Super Metroid on the SNES emulator, it's really hard since this game use ALL of the SNES game pad buttons... |

Good question.
But I think it is more useful when TV-Out. |

Both compatible, but I don't think it is useful for LE. |

If you use it to play games get it now.
Not having to go to a menu to push start and select, having all the buttons avalible make gaming much better. |

Hi, may I ask how to connect the controller to SmartQ II? I turn on GBA and proceed to the start of game but can't use the controller to control the game toon.
Any bro can enlighten me? Thanks in advance. |

you have to use a AA battery on the wireless emitter, and then enable the controller on the Settings - Gamepad, use "Channel 1A"
to change channel, press Select and Start on the gamepad at the same time, so you have Channel 1, 2, 3 and 4 (the 3 lights lit is Channel 4) |

Be sure the T5II is connected to t.v or headphones, it needs the external
wire as an antenae.
I also found that the controller can be powered by any usb port,
like the one one your computer. |

| Thanks alot for the advices. Tried just now, can work but the reception is not too good, need to stay within 1 metre to maintain control. |

| try a different channel for the controller, maybe Channel 1 is interfering with other wireless devices around you. |

Glad it working, but mine does two or three meters easy.
Try different batteries or different channels on it.
I also find the position of the battery important. It seems to me if there line of sight from the battery to the tv cable it works well.
Again glad it working, but I think you should get better range. |
